
About Faith
Faith Becnel is a young, dynamic vocalist, entertainer, and artist born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Faith has been performing on stage since she was 10 years old. She recorded her first CD “I Believe”, when she was only 12 years old. At 13, she formed her own band, the "Music Krewe", and continues to hone her skills as a vocalist and performer. Faith is currently writing her first EP that will release on all platforms very soon.
Faith Auditioned for 'American Idol' in 2019 and worked her way to Top 20 on the National Television show, which concluded in May of 2020. Faith was praised for her performance skills by judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie. Faith gets the crowd involved in all her performances, and creates an intimate, exciting show for everyone.
She has performed on stage with many of the great Louisiana Legends and bands including Vince Vance and the Valiants, Irma Thomas, Rockin’ Dopsie Jr., Al “Carnival Time” Johnson, The Boogie Men, The Top Cats, Five Finger Discount, Benny Grunch and the Bunch, Cullen Landry and the Midnight Streetcar, Judy Spellman, and many others.
Faith has performed throughout Louisiana and surrounding states at events such as French Quarter Fest, Louisiana Crawfish Fest, Redfish Fest, Oyster Fest, Andouille Fest, Monster Mash, Alligator Fest, Cruisin’ the Coast, Audubon Zoo, Orpheus Ball, Lundi Gras, Zeus Parade, Earth Fest, New Orleans Yacht Club, All State Sugar Bowl Gala, Sacred Heart Fair, Jesuit Bazaar, LI Thanh St. Fair, Pho Fest, and many more events. She is often asked to sing her outstanding versions of the National Anthem, God Bless America and other patriotic songs at many events including Zephyr’s games, UNO Lakefront Arena, American Cancer Society, charity events, festivals, conventions, and many more.
Faith’s ambition and drive combined with her powerhouse vocals and poise on stage are propelling her as she has become a premier entertainer and artist.
